March 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag

I really liked the range of products I received in my second glam bag. (One of these items turned out to be a new holy grail product for me!) And the value of products is pretty incredible for the $20 subscription cost. Overall, I give this bag 6.5 out of 10 stars.

Listed from left to right, here is a summary of my March Glam Bag items and what I thought of each product.

Mellow Cosmetics, Powder Blush in 'Bronze' (8.5 out of 10 stars) - this is a great addition to my makeup collection; I always love trying new blushes/bronzers. I found this product to be very pigmented and super blendable. Also, FULL SIZE!

NYX, Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in 'Kitten Heels' (5.5 out of 10 stars) - another full sized product! Sadly though, I wasn't in love with this item. I've tried many different liquid lipsticks, and I found this formula to be especially drying; and a bright red isn't the most forgiving on dry lips. The formula won't stay on all night, but it's a unique, darker shade of red that I really liked.

Alterna Haircare, Caviarr Anti-Aging Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist (10 out of 10 stars) - a new holy grail product!! My hair is quite thin, so I'm all about any product that successfully adds volume, and this product definitely delivers! For me, the results are most noticeable the next day. If I don't shampoo and conditioner every single day, my hair becomes unbearably flat and unflattering. But when I use this spray, my hair has the same volume the next day as it did the night before. I will definitely be replacing this when my sample runs out!

First Aid Beauty, Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum (3 out of 10 stars) - I've heard such good things about this product, but unfortunately it didn't wow me. I have my skin care products that I love and will probably buy for the next foreseeable future (the price tags on my current faves are also significantly less), and I didn't notice any changes after using this product; I'll be sticking to my existing routine.

Ofra Cosmetics, eyeliner in 'Green Go' (5.5 out of 10 stars) - a THIRD full sized!! I love Ofra and was so excited to be receiving one of their products, however this colour isn't something I'm able to incorporate into my everyday looks. I find it to be a bit too subtle. But that being said, this shade is gorgeous.
